MESSAGE FROM ALAN COSGROVE
To all Friday night campers, please note the Rugby club will not be available for food.
There are a few local takeaways of which I shall bring menus.
Early Gits arrived at crack of dawn on the Friday - first stop for supplies...
Then on to the Toby Carvery for a world-record attempt on the biggest FEB ever!
Then onto site for some serious help shifting the Portaloos - good work David P + Grunt!
Alan C showed some surfer dude style "riding the brown wave"
Then it was time to set up Git Camp, complete with "Absent Friends" bench & Git Gazebo
We made a special point of flying the Texas flag for Gayle - thinking of you, honey!
Saturday FEB with "Bacon Slice" - and check out those amazing free range eggs!
After all that effort, it was time for coffee & carrot cake - and a Selfie!
Then along comes a nice man with a very nice camera - thank you Javaid Akhtar!
Sunday FEB with more mixed beans & scallop potatoes - thanks David!
and thanks to Sandra for lots of lovely toast!
