Location: One mile North of Kidderminster
Directions: From Kidderminster go North on the A449 towards Dudley.
At the first set of traffic lights turn left, onto B4189 Wolverley Road, up the hill
(there is a wall to your right around the grounds of the now demolished Lea Castle estate).
A road comes in from the left, followed by Heathfield School.
SLOW DOWN after the final school exit and look for a sign for a caravan site opposite a road on the right appearing thru a hole in the afsd wall.
Turn right into this road ignore the entrance for caravans immediately on the left, drive straight on until the road widens into a small carpark on the left with entry to the park behind it.
We usually fly from around the first matted concrete cricket pitch on the left.
If you arrive at the Staffs and Worcs. Canal you have missed us, turn in The Lock's carpark and try again.
Parking: Free. Thru a gate on to the field
Facilities: The Lock public house (just across the canal in the village of Fairfield) overlooks Wolverley Lock on the Staffs and Worcs Canal.
Accessibility: Not that good unles the gate across the road is open. The small gate leads on to a grassy slope.
Flying Area: A field of mown grass, not filled by eight football pitches in winter
Comments: A secret rural haven owned and well maintained by WFDC
Local Clubs/Contacts:TEAM RIKOK fly virtually every Wednesday afternoon starting at approx 13.30hrs. Lunching members meet in The Lock from 12.15hrs.
Nearest Retailer: Walsall, Wolverhampton and Worcester.
