Location: Oxon/Bucks boarder between Watlington and Nettlebed.

Directions: M40 J.6 Watlington turn-off. South to Watlington on B4009.
Follow signs for Nettlebed out of Watlington. Turn off at sign to Russells Water.
Follow road about 2 miles past Five Horseshoes pub - you can't miss the common.

Parking: On grass alongside roads - please do not block passing places.

Facilities: Not a lot. Five Horseshoes pub does food, but it's VERY expensive and you will require a reservation on all but the quietest days.

Accessibility: Park and fly by your car.

Flying Area: Huge area of rough grass. Can get very long (making self launch impossible), but is cut fairly regularly.
Just for the record this site is generally not flyable through June & July due to grass length.
NB : This site is usable for all wind directions - watch for Gliders...

Comments: Common land - there may be sheep. Buggying is OK (if grass is short).
There is a specific bylaw against powered models.
