Directions: From Southport use the Coast Road until you arrive at the roundabout (just before Pontins Holiday Camp).
Take the 3rd exit leading to Shore Road. Signposted to the Beach. Pay toll.
On entering the beach turn left and drive along the beach for 0.5 mile (speed limit 10 m.p.h)
Parking: £3 per day at toll booth or £20 for season ticket (april to sept) obtainable from Southport Tourist Office.

Facilities: Toilets on approach to Toll Booth. Food Vendors on the Beach. No shelter or seating (Bring your own)
Accessibility: Sand Beach. Car access advised.
Flying Area: Parakiting Area is marked by a Barrier. Normal Kites fly wherever it is safe to do so.

Comments: PARAKITING ZONE. To use the designated area, a permit is required from Sefton Councils Health and Safety Section;
proof of Buggy Club insurance will be required, as will the completion of the indemnity form. There is no charge for the permit.
