Location: N.W. edge of Southampton

Directions: Leave M.27 at Junction 3, onto M.271 toward Soton. Turn off after 1/2 a mile, signed left to Lordshill.
About 1/2 mile, past grey domes of Tennis Centre to roundabout, take first exit left to Upton and Romsey A.3057
About 1/4 mile, take left turn into Redbridge Lane (look for signs to The Cedar School).
Look for signs on LHS for "Millbrook R.F.C." with black & yellow striped board over entrance (limited headroom 6' 9" - about 2 metres)

Parking: Free car park, courtesy of Millbrook RFC

Facilities: Toilets in sports pavillion, only open when public event or match is on.

Accessibility: Flying site about 100 yards from car park

Flying Area: Huge smooth level & grassy + cricket, rugger & footer pitches

Comments: Southampton Kite Festival held here annually.
Wind direction can be very variable, depending on where you stand and what height you fly!
Beware - helicopters may land here with emergencies for Soton Hospital
