Directions: From Wareham = from r/about on West edge of town, A351 South for nearly a mile,
turn right onto minor road to Steeple. Follow this road for 2 miles (last 1/2 mile getting steeper).
Turn in left by red flag at top of hill. N.B. Minor roads also from E.Lulworth and Corfe Castle
Parking: Free, on site
Facilities: None - occasional ice-cream van
Accessibility: Right by parking area. Small ditch to cross.
Flying Area: 300 by 150 feet - not for buggies. Grassy, sloping moderately down to South
Great view South towards sea. Steeple 2 site in view, one mile West.
Comments: Road runs alongside North edge of flying area - no fence !!! R/C gliders fly here sometimes - no problem usually
Southerly winds and short lines best = 75ft max. Long grass a problem sometimes
Bovington tank training area visible North of road. Large red flag always flying - handy wind indicator
