Location: 4 miles South of Weymouth

Directions: Into Weymouth from North (Dorchester A354), or from East (A353) or from West (B3157).
Signs to Portland Bill, through Wyke Regis, along causeway (some kiting possible from Chesil Beach, car parks on causeway) past ex R.N. depot, up past prison, up & on South to P.Bill, when 2 lighthouses come into view, past the pub on RHS, toward the taller red & white striped l/house

Parking: Large Pay & Display park on RHS, just before tall l/house

Facilities: Toilets, cafe, gift shop & phone. Tall l/house sometimes open (free) if you love exercise & vertigo. Portland Harbour is great for windsurfing (allegedly)

Accessibility: Toilets by car park, flying site, shop & cafe across road

Flying Area: Grassy level triangular area 300 by 300 by 300 yards, bounded by road, clifftop buildings & old l/house keepers cottages

Comments: Bumpy for buggies, and probably dangerous (unguarded cliff edge)
