Location: Open land North of Swanage & South of Studland - very exposed

Directions: A351 to Corfe Castle, turn left to Studland on B3351, turn right onto minor road for 1/2 mile, past Glebeland Estate

Parking: There is no parking at the top of Glebeland Estate.  The access road is private, open to residents vehicles only.  Those wishing to fly kites on the Down should park in the village, NT car park next to Bankes Arms Pub and walk up to the Down.

Facilities: None - about a mile into Studland for toilets

Accessibility: Up rocky track S.W. to top of ridge, left (East) toward The Foreland, Old Harry Rocks & Ballard Point - or turn West (inland) towards tumuli & obelisk (UNTRIED)

Flying Area: Open field North of Coast Path, past trig point

Comments:Watch out for hang gliders! Rough ground sloping down to North, with lots of large flints. Watch out for grazing animals & barbed wire fences. Short lines recommended (75 ft). Not for buggies.
