Location: Overlooking Bude Breakwater & Summerleaze Beach from the South

Directions: A39 to Bude, then toward town centre. Signs to Widemouth Bay. When road crosses bridge over canal, turn right toward sea & park.

Parking: Pay/Display down by canal, both sides. NOTE - Don't obstruct small track to RNLI boathouse

Facilities: Restaurant, shops, library & toilets by canal. Good surfing in sea, or safe bathing in seawater pools.
Small swim pool at end of breakwater (St Thomas' Pit)

Accessibility: 10 minute uphill walk from canal, past RNLI, onto Efford Down

Flying Area: Clifftop - so BE CAREFUL - NO BUGGIES HERE !!! - or, if wind is due East or West, try on the breakwater

Comments: Pepperpot is an old lookout on edge of cliff above breakwater. Look out for sheep (they can panic). Don't fly on the beach unless it's deserted!
