Comments: The field has a council building on its edge - out of which an offical will come to tell you off, if you're kiting with a "wheeled vehicle" as there is a local by-law prohibiting such activity.
N.B. There has now (30.11.03) been an official complaint lodged with the Police by Tilehurst Parish Council, about kiters flaunting this by-law.
Please do not use this site for any form of kite-powered buggy or mountain board activity. You risk prosecution, as well as bringing bad publicity upon all kite fliers and clubs, which could then have similar by-laws imposed.
This website has been named in the complaint. The Committee of Poole Kite Fliers wishes to make it very clear that compliance with local by-laws is compulsory, and any breach is viewed as cause for expulsion from the club. Other clubs (listed below) have expressed the same view. Please pass this advice around.
