It works! Just click the picture to see it go.
Now see the stove put to practical use. Really boiling a kettle of water.
This represents the acme of heat science and could be the answer to a lot of thorny problems facing mankind.
Continuing with the burny theme:

As you can see, you use the syringe to blast air into the film canister.
This shoots white spirit out of the nozzle up through a flame.

My goodness, you get a super flame along with that strange man in his garage

John makes and flies Fighters mostly
These little fighters need some finishing and then, after they have matured for a year or two, they will be splendid flyers.
After seeing John flying fighters at Brighton, a lady called Bex asked if he and others could fly
Afghan fighters for a film she wanted to make. What a lovely opportunity !
Mr Chapman came up with the kites and we flew them.

Here we are at the pub before we did some flying.
The film was a success and secured an MA for Bex.
You can see a shortened version of the film on YouTube:

It flies wonderfully...

This one is a real miniature; it flys wonderfully.

With the light behind it, this one glows wonderfully.

Even my bamboo shavings serve well - with some Sorbus leaves and some sticks and paper ..

Looking through the leaves

And it flies !

Here is a kite made from a couple of Conker tree leaves..
