Cardigan Kite Festival 2021 - message from Helene Morgan on Facebook This is a small event and due to the limited camping and flat ground space available we are waiting to hear from the usual attendees to see if they would like to attend this year. After this we shall allocate the other spaces on a first come first served basis from the list of interested people. If we have to limit more due to the virus then it will be the usual attendees only again also due to the space. We thought we had better state this due to the interest. Thanks for everyones interest we are working on the Shropshire Festival at present and this has more camping space xx

St Annes International Kite Festival: 3-5 September 2021

We're super excited to be going ahead, even though there will be a few changes and some extra guidelines to follow.
Friday, for example, looks a little different with no night fly this year.
Instead, a free fly on the beach on Friday afternoon while we set up for the weekend.
Lots more details to follow, but the key is to get yourself registered

I've asked Holiday Park Unity if they will offer a discount again for us
and if we can do our illuminated display on their site on Saturday night.
There are several road accesses to the beach on that road.
The one we use is right next to Beachside Holiday Camp and opposite Holiday Park unity!
There will be signs at the top but not the usual rout marked all the way from the motorway that we do.
You basically follow the signs towards Berrow and Brean and keep going through all the windy turns
till you see a big black and white cow in front of Unity Holiday Park, the entry is directly opposite
and the Beachside Cafe is under new management and a great place to meet with lots of outside space.
This is now an official event!

Camping available from Friday afternoon until Sunday, NO facilities provided.
Sadly due to the fuel crisis, and caravans and motorhomes being thirsty on fuel,
a number of potential campers have decided to be day visitors only, on Sunday for OSOW.
This means the Saturday evening BBQ is being moved to Sunday lunchtime.
Roy Martin will be at the field sometime on Saturday morning, and staying until Sunday,
so if there is anyone who wishes to camp, then you will be welcome, rules as before:
It is £5 to fly, and a donation is requested from those that camp, ALL money goes to Children in Need.

then head up to the field to fly kites and finish off with the BBQ at lunch time.

and a good night's sleep, then back to The Fox for FEB at 10am on Sunday morning.
