Gits Attending = Keith, Dicky, David, Alan & Anne, Andrew & Sandra, Paul & Helene + 16,000,000 midges

Friday 25th May - The Gits arrived mob-handed - Keith, Alan & Anne got there early from Symonds Yat
David got there at a "sensible" time, and Dicky hit the road from Wareham after lunch!
(got there in time to illuminate the Git Gazebo, but too late to help get it up)

In the light of later events, it was appropriate that "Lest We Forget" flew alongside the Texas Lone Star

With Keith's solar panel and double bank of leisure batteries, there was no need for Lil Genny.
With a hook-up from Stella, there was plenty of power for lighting up the Git Gazebo.

Friday night was Curry Night - hats off and serious respect to the stalwarts who produced so much good food!

Keith brought biscuits, just in case anybody felt faint from hunger...

Saturday 26th May - The sun shone hot & bright - and there were lots of bubbles!

What the heck are Dicky & Keith up to? Looks dodgy!

Well, it was to do with the weather... and we certainly had quite a bit of that!
Sometimes scorching hot & windless (when the midges came to feast on Keith's legs)
Sudden rain showers and then "dry thunder" rumbling around the hills to the North-East

Keith came to Margam with a sniffle, which he passed on to Dicky, who spent all of Monday abed (wimp)
Then several other Gits went down with a similar bug, and Dicky took the blame for that!
Monday 28th: Bank Holiday + Pirate Day

Tuesday 29th - Faint with hunger after a busy weekend, the Gits barely made it to the Chippenham Pit Stop
The Men Gits naturally had to go for "The Full Tank" - while the Lady Gits had the "Lady Trucker's Breakfast"
