The Gits planned to arrive on Friday afternoon, but heavy traffic & roadworks meant the tail enders got there at 7.30pm We all helped set up Andrew & Sandra's caravan and awning, and Keith erected his tent with the Memorial Bench inside. Then they enjoyed a splendid meal of pasta bake, gnocchi, pesto pasta & avocado salad (for which many thanks to Sandra), followed by fresh fruit salad (Dicky & Janette) and several very pleasant drinkies! Saturday morning FEB at The Duke's Head, Leominster (Wetherspoon's of course) - after a night of Donner und Blitzen mit viel Regen! Setting up camp on Saturday morning, now the thunderclouds appear to have passed by. Ooops-a-daisy... We seem to have a bit of a tangle... Call for the A-Team! It was at this point that Dicky did his special version of the Hokey-Cokey... - not sure if he was enjoying it, or in pain... Plenty sun, plenty clouds, plenty kites & people - but rock all wind! Dicky & Janette went round the gardens when the wind died away Saturday night was curry night - many thanks to the volunteer catering crew! So what have we got here then? Sunday -- Airheads waited patiently in the hot, sultry sunshine - while some kids had fun with their workshop sled Finally Airheads managed to get airborne - but not for long....
